Those most despicable crack heads at the Westboro Baptist Church (the maintainers of godhatesfags.com) were forced by a court of law to pay a family whose funeral they picketed damages just above 10 million Dollars. 10 million dollars.
I cannot express how happy this makes me. Those people have made me more angry just by their words than any other person has by any action. And now, they have to pay 10 million dollars!
This will certainly send a message to those people, that the law, and our common sense of what is good, do coincide now and then. And in this case, both the law, and human decency agree that you cannot go to random funerals and wave signs that say"thank god for dead soldiers."
This case is like roll of Tums in the grand case of indigestion the Phelps family has brought on our country and the Christian Religion.
